Newton Township employees are responsible for opening and closing of all grave plots in all Newton Township Cemeteries, as well as maintenance and mowing and trimming of Newton Township Cemeteries. NewtonTownship workers will treat each family with dignity and respect at their time of loss of their loved ones, during and after the burial process. Our township employees work very hard to maintain a beautiful final resting place for your loved ones, now and in the future, and we are very proud of the work that that our dedicated employees perform in the Newton Township Cemeteries.

THE NEWTON TOWNSHIP CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
The Newton Township Cemetery Association is a non profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the restoration of cemetery headstones, and verification of grave sites and markers. This all volunteer group is committed to the restoration of all the Newton Township cemeteries, and have spent countless hours researching and documenting all grave sites and repair of damaged/aged grave markers and monuments. This group donates time, labor, money and materials to preserve the history of the cemeteries in the township. The Newton Township Cemetery Association is funded solely by private donations, fund raisers and membership dues. Membership dues are $10.00 yearly, and new members are welcomed and needed to further the goals of the Newton Township Cemetery Association. Meetings are held monthly at the Newton Township Administration Building and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
